Be Circular - Circular disassembling of building in Cartesius Utrecht

Are you concerned about the impact of the construction industry on the environment? This is not necessary when building Cartesius! A. Van Liempd has been asked by the Cartesius consortium to disassemble the former Van Mossel building in a circular manner. By opting for circular disassembling , buildings and materials can be reused. As a result, we have to extract less gravel and other raw materials from our earth. The building is being used elsewhere to a high standard and you will soon see the clinker paving in Cartesius. Even the concrete construction, such as the floor and the foundation, is used again to make new concrete. This is a wonderful example of how we can make the construction sector more sustainable and reduce the impact on our environment. www.cartesius-utrecht.nl
